For first time retail and commercial orders please provide your telephone number and name, ship to address, credit card information, bill to name and address, and what you want to order. Subsequent orders require telephone number, name, and order only unless the credit card information has changed.

If you reach our answering machine, please leave your name and telephone number and we will return your call as soon as possible. Orders will ship next business day. All orders are paid by VISA, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover credit card before shipment. There are no sales taxes on food products like crepe mixes. For 200 pound orders or larger, we offer a 6% discount on wholesale prices and about a 22% discount on UPS shipping. Skid load shipments can be arranged two weeks in advance. Additional shipping and wholesale cost savings are afforded with skid load shipments.

Unfortunately, without special brokerage and shipping arrangements made ahead of time, we can only accept orders from customers in the United States and Canada..

Free Crêpe Trowels

Alamarra 6" or 7.5" crêpe trowels are provided free with crepe mix order shipments. The trowel blades are made from 1/2" hard wood dowel rod and make smooth work of spreading the batter. The 6" trowel is ideal for 14" and smaller griddles. The 7.5" trowels work well with the 16" griddles.

Two Styles Of Paper Crêpe Cones

As a courtesy to our mix customers, Alamarra can also provide white paper crêpe cones at our cost with customer orders of mix. These cones are ideal for carry out venues and are designed to hold a 15" diameter crêpe that has been folded into a cone shape.

The first style of crêpe cone is die cut and embossed stiff white paper that is 0.010 inches thick and has a shiny inside surface. The cones are packaged 500 per box. These cones are provided in the flat and have to be assembled as shown below. A label with a crêperie logo can be applied over the tab area to private brand the cones. Typically this cone is used with the crêpe wrapped in paper to provide some insulation so that the cone is not too hot to handle. At 10¢ per cone the cost per box of 500 cones is $50.00.

The second style of crepe cone is made from two pieces of heavy white paper 0.017 inches thick and has better insulating properties for holding fresh hot crepes without wrapping them with in paper. The cones and sliders come in two separate boxes. The cone is flipped open and then the slider is inserted with the crêpe. The pie shaped slider helps the customer to pull out the crêpe. At 17¢ per cone + slider, the cost for 550 cones and sliders is $92.00

Shipping

Alamarra crêpe mixes are usually shipped via UPS Ground. We can quote UPS shipping costs to you at the time of your order. Alamarra adds 5% to the UPS charges to cover credit card transaction costs. UPS provides significant discounts for shipments that exceed 200 pounds. The most economical UPS rates are for shipments between 500 and 999 pounds. UPS Ground shipment times vary between 3 days for the East Coast and five days for the West Coast. If needed, whole shipments or portions of shipments can be expedited using UPS 3 Day, 2 Day, or Next Day service. Expedited shipments through UPS are expensive so please avoid expedited shipments by planning ahead. UPS picks up and delivers shipments Monday through Friday only.

To reduce your costs, Alamarra also ships 1000 pound skid loads via common carrier but you must have a dock. Common carrier shipments are usually delivered one to two days faster than UPS. Common carrier shipments require two to three weeks notice.

Canadian customers will be required by the Canadian Government to have a designated broker at the port of entry. Alamarra will provide the required NAFTA and Commercial Invoice documents for Canadian customers.

Terms

All orders will be on a credit card. Orders will be charged to the credit card just prior to shipment. Orders will be shipped on the next business day.
