If you reach our answering machine, please leave your name and telephone number and we will return your call as soon as possible. Orders will ship next business day. All orders are paid by VISA, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover credit card before shipment. There are no sales taxes on food products like crepe mixes. Skid load shipments can be arranged one to two weeks in advance and offer considerable shipping savings.

Unfortunately, without special brokerage and shipping arrangements made ahead of time, we can only accept orders from customers in the United States and Canada.

Free Crêpe Trowels

Alamarra 6" or 7.5" crêpe trowels are provided free with crepe mix order shipments. We generally supply one for every 100 pounds of mix ordered. The trowel blades are made from 1/2" hard wood dowel rod and make smooth work of spreading the batter. The 6" trowel is ideal for 14" and smaller griddles. The 7.5" trowels work well with the 16" griddles. Each trowel is an $8.00 value.

Two Styles Of Paper Crêpe Cones

As a courtesy to our mix customers, Alamarra can also provide white paper crêpe cones with customer orders of mix. These cones are ideal for carry out venues and are designed to hold a 14" diameter crêpe that has been folded into a cone shape.

The first style of crêpe cone is die cut and embossed stiff white paper that is 0.010 inches thick and has a shiny inside surface. The cones are packaged 500 per box. These cones are provided in the flat and have to be assembled as shown below. A label with a crêperie logo can be applied over the tab area to private brand the cones. Typically this cone is used with the crêpe wrapped in paper to provide some insulation so that the cone is not too hot to handle. The cost per box of 500 cones is $50.00 for customers who purchase at least 50 pounds of mix and $63.00 for customers who do not purchase mix.

The second style of crêpe cone is made from heavy white paper 0.017 inches thick and has better insulating properties for holding fresh hot crêpes. We just improved the design of these cones to include a tab at the bottom to help prevent drips. The cones and optional sliders come in two separate boxes. The cone is flipped open and then the crêpe is inserted with or without the slider. The pie shaped slider helps the customer to pull the crêpe out of the cone because it can tend to stick in the bottom of the cone. The crepe can also be wrapped in tissue before being inserted into the cone. Tissue can be obtained at restaurant supply stores. The cost per box of 325 cones is $44.00 for customers who purchase at least 50 pounds mix and $65.00 for customers who do not purchase mix. The cost per box of 325 sliders is $12.00 for customers who purchase at least 50 pounds of mix and $15.00 for customers who do not purchase mix.

Shipping

Alamarra crêpe mixes are usually shipped via UPS Ground. We can quote UPS shipping costs and delivery dates to you at the time of your order. Alamarra adds 5% to the UPS charges to cover credit card transaction costs on shipping so that we are shipping neutral. We can use your UPS account number to ship and not charge the 5%. UPS Ground shipment times vary between 3 days for the East Coast and five days for the West Coast. If needed, whole shipments or portions of shipments can be expedited using UPS 3 Day, 2 Day, or Next Day service. Expedited shipments through UPS are expensive so please avoid expedited shipments by planning ahead. UPS picks up and delivers shipments Monday through Friday only.

To reduce your costs, Alamarra also ships 1000 pound skid loads via common carrier. Skid load discounts are available and common carrier shipments cost much less per pound. Skid load shipments require one to two weeks to obtain the additional ingredients and schedule into production. Common carrier shipments usually take fewer days to deliver than UPS.

Canadian customers will be required by the Canadian Government to have a designated broker at the port of entry. Alamarra will provide the required NAFTA and Commercial Invoice documents for Canadian customers.

Terms

All orders will be transacted on a credit card. Orders will be charged to the credit card just prior to shipment. Orders will be shipped by the next business day.
